About the role  

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Construction

The Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Construction will be required to deliver/cover lessons in both practical and theory who would have knowledge and experience of the various trades of Joinery, Brickwork, Plumbing and Electrical preferably at all levels 1-3.

To instruct, train, demonstrate and assess students on competence based/skills-based learning programmes devised.

The main responsibilities of this role include the delivery and assessment of high-quality learning programmes in Construction across a range of levels of further education, as well as undertaking a range of programme leadership, tutorial and programme administration duties.

The successful candidate will:  

  • To hold a relevant qualification at a minimum Level 3.
  • To be a qualified teacher or must be prepared to commence an appropriate teaching qualification on appointment to the post.
  • Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) or willing to undertake.
  • A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
  • Assessor and Verifier Awards – Desirable.
  • Teaching or Training Experience – Desirable.
  • First Aid qualification – Desirable.
