Contract:                  NSG Business Support, Full time, Permanent

Salary:                      Business Support Scale SO1 – PO, Range 23 - 34

               £26,896 - £33,688 per annum

Hours:                       37 per week

Annual leave:          30 per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

Pension:                   NEST Pension Scheme

About the role  

 

The Teaching and Learning Mentor for Apprenticeships will support and ensure that all apprentices develop and apply skills need to advance in their role

 

 

The successful candidate will:  

 

To hold a relevant qualification at level 3 or above.

To be a qualified teacher or assessor

Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) or willing to work towards it.

To have a proven record of good and or outstanding teaching and assessing practices.

Mentoring or coaching experience.

Previous experience of supporting staff.

Knowledge of current issues facing the FE sector, in particular in relation to apprenticeship provision.

Have recent knowledge and application of technology enhanced learning strategies.

Evidence of disseminating own good practice effectively.

High level of IT competency and experience of using this to improve performance.
