Job Title:               Lecturer in Health & Social Care

Salary:                    Lecturer Salary Scale from Pt 5 – Pt 14                                   £25,153 - £35,880, actual salary, subject to a progression criteria

Contract:                MC Lecturer, Full-Time, Permanent

Hours:                     37 per week

Teaching Hours:    864 per annum

Annual Leave:        45 per annum (pro rata) plus statutory Bank Holidays 

Pension:                 Teachers’ Pension

About the role                                               

The role is full time – 37 hours, permanent.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in Health and Social Care. Lecturers at the College plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work experiences that ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning, life and work.

You will be predominately teach on Access Programmes with a science background and have up to date sector skills.

 

The successful candidate will:  

Be a qualified Teacher or willing to work towards a teaching qualification.

Hold a relevant Degree qualification or equivalent.

Have current knowledge and / or experience of teaching Health & Social Care.

Current knowledge and / or experience of one or more fields of Health and Social Care.
