Salary: £21,423 - £25,757 per annum (actual salary)
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week
Basis: Full Time, Term time only 40 weeks

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Industry Placement Coordinator Assessor to join our Business & Childcare department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in organising, coordinating, assessing and monitoring learners whilst on placement, while being an integral part of our thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Industry Placement Coordinator Assessor, you will:
- Take responsibility, under the direction of the Industry Placement Team Leader, for organising, coordinating, assessing, and monitoring learners during their placements.
- Liaise with the Industry Placement Manager regarding placement opportunities.
- Ensure that all placement providers comply with health and safety regulations, and that appropriate risk assessments are carried out for specific learner requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of placement providers and the opportunities they offer. Record their performance through review procedures or other means, focusing on health, safety, and effective supervision.
- Meet with students prior to their placements to discuss their needs and the college’s expectations of them while on placement.
- Maintain, review, develop, and expand industry placement opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Health & Care.
- Hold a grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Possess assessor and/or verifier awards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Exhibit excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification is desirable.
